How fast will my broadband, dial up or mobile internet connection be with ONSPEED?

Dial up internet access could be ten times faster, broadband five times faster, and mobile internet eight times faster.

ONSPEED Version 5 now works on broadband connections up to 2Mb. Delivering speed increases of up to 5 times on connections of 512K to 1Mb and about 3 times on connections up to 2Mb. How does ONSPEED work?

ONSPEED is a software download which compresses webpages you are viewing or downloading - text, images, drawings, Flash, office documents in Word, PowerPoint, and more.

You can't physically change the speed of your Internet connection - so ONSPEED uses a technology called Content Sensitive Compression ('CSC') to individually compress each element of a web page or email. The end result is that your web pages and emails (PC only) load and download faster using your existing Internet connection.

Please note, ONSPEED is not compatible with the AOL browser. ONSPEED recommends that AOL dial-up and broadband users use an alternative internet browser in order to use ONSPEED.

The ONSPEED subscription is sold on a per computer basis. For each computer you would like to use ONSPEED on, you will need an additional ONSPEED subscription.
