Virgin Media, the fibre optic broadband, phone and TV company, has announced that it expects to cut 15% of its workforce by 2012. This will amount to around 2,200 staff.However job cuts won't start until Q4 of 2009. This cut follows large staff cuts in 2005 when NTL and Telewest merged to form Virgin Media.
