Looking to sign up to Sky+ HD this Christmas? Well, now Sky have offered two new HD channels - taking the number of HD channels available on Sky to 28. The two new Sky+ HD channels are:
Additionally, the Sky HD channel Sky Real Lives HD launched in October. If you want Sky+ HD, you will need a Sky+ HD Box - now only £99 (usual price £150) with the £10 a month Sky HD pack. Browse Sky+ HD on the Sky TV website. The HD channels you receive in your Sky HD Pack will vary according to the Sky TV package you have, or take out - eg, if you have the standard definition Sky Sports or Sky Movies channel in your package you will receive the high definition version of that channel if available in the HD Pack. BBC HD and Channel 4 HD are available without a subscription, thoough Channel 4 HD requires a valid viewing card. What is HD TV? HD is high definition TV - See TV with up to four times more detail, incredibly vibrant colours and superb quality surround sound (Dolby® Digital 5.1 is available on many HD programmes with a compatible TV and home cinema system).
