| BSkyB to buy Tiscali - Tuesday 4 November 2008 | | Print | |

BSkyB is in talks to buy the UK broadband arm of Tiscali. The sale, if it goes ahead, would leave Sky the third biggest UK broadband provider behind BT and Virgin Media. It would also give Sky the opportunity to promote its Sky TV services to Tiscali customers. This would also be the first time Sky would have broadband-only customers - currently you need to take out Sky TV to be able to sign up for Sky broadband. |
