Broadband and phone provider Tiscali will launch a mobile phone service later this year, according to a report on The Telegraph. Tiscali bought Toucan, which provides broadband, phone, and mobile services, with Pipex in 2007. The existing mobile service - ToucanMobile - is small-scale and leases space on T-Mobile's network. The new mobile service, branded Tiscali, will be "spun out" of the existing ToucanMobile service. The new service will be SIM-only, so users will either have to use an existing phone or buy their own new phone. |
